Set of Eight Sculptural Metal Dining Chairs, Including Two Host Chairs

£1,800.00
sold out

This hand-forged set of eight dining chairs, made between 1990 and the early 2000s, includes two taller host chairs for the heads of the table. Recently reupholstered in ivory moiré by British designer Zoffany, they pair industrial strength with lyrical design.

Robust but visually sparse, they shudder like tuning forks with pressure – the effect is naturally mimicked by their wavy vertical lines. Each chair is hand-numbered in permanent marker, a detail that reflects the rumored experimental ethos of their maker, “J. Champion”.

Collection from Brixton, London or arranged delivery.
