Floral Green and Brown 1970s Sofa
We very nearly didn’t let this one go. This sofa captures the best of 1970s modernism - bold, sculptural, and built for comfort. In the style of COR, it combines clean, architectural lines with an inviting, foam-filled form that folds out into a bed. Two loose back cushions complete the design’s relaxed geometry.
The upholstery, a deep brown corduroy fabric patterned with vivid green florals, channels the decade’s fascination with nature and texture. We believe this may be a design prototype: its pristine condition and meticulous build suggest it was rarely, if ever, used - possibly a unique piece.
Elegant, tactile, and unexpectedly fresh, it’s a striking example of 1970s design at its most inventive.
Dimensions: 68 cm. 186 cm 90 cm.
