A French Art Deco table lamp by Schneider, dating from around 1925–30. Its tall satin-frosted glass shade is moulded with geometric lines and rows of faceted drops, becoming more pronounced when illuminated.
The wrought iron base has as much going on. A broad, heavily hammered foot rises into curling stems and animated, ginkgo-like leaves, each worked slightly differently and now darkened with age.
Professionally rewired and PAT tested.
