The softened white paint has worn back over generations of use, revealing traces of earlier layers beneath. The mouldings remain crisp despite their age, while the feet retain a slight irregularity that quietly speaks to their making. Set on the diagonal, they follow the rhythm of the canted sides, yet pull forwards like the central drawers, an unexpected continuation of the cabinet's geometry.
