1980s–90s Wrought Metal Sofa and Armchair Set with Striped Upholstery

£700.00
sold out

A wrought metal seating set, late 20th century, likely 1980s–90s, with a lively, theatrical character, reminiscent of Garouste and Bonetti, with something of Pucci de Rossi’s spirit. It sits within that moment of late-century design where furniture leaned toward the expressive – decorative, slightly eccentric, and made to hold attention.

Comprising a sofa and armchair, the frames are hand-worked with scrolls, arrow motifs and small decorative elements that give the set its eccentric charm.

Upholstered in its original wide striped fabric in black and warm cream, the cushions bring a crisp, graphic edge to the otherwise playful metalwork.

Quirky without being fussy – they’re also incredibly comfortable.

Sofa width approx. 153 cm
Chair width approx. 83 cm

Matching coffee table available to view upon request (approx. 106.5 × 66.5 × 45.5 cm).
